This 2-day virtual training session, Instructed by Vince Franco, focuses on the fundamentals and basic information pertaining to grants management with numerous examples of best practice techniques and ethical standards for Tribal Housing Professionals, particularly those individuals who are new to their respective position(s) and have not had an opportunity to participate in and/or receive formally structured training or guidance on the effective and efficient operation, financial activities, and compliance protocols of their funding program(s). This course includes carefully and methodically designed training for Tribal Housing Professionals and exposure to the federal requirements with (as time allows for) a review of appropriate State of California funding regulations and 501 (c) (3) nonprofit organization and foundation guidelines.
This training equips trainees with the essential knowledge and skills required to understand the
operational requirements of federal funding. It also provides the skill set(s) needed for navigating, searching, interpreting, and implementing the citations contained in the federal regulations, specifically the most recent version of the Uniform Guidance – 2 CFR Part 200 (Super Circular).
